The innovative SLX1300 pipe extraction system from HammerHead Trenchless® uses Same Path™ Technology to remove 0.50 – 1.25” steel gas services from the ground while simultaneously pulling new HDPE or MDPE pipe into the existing location, greatly reducing risk to surrounding utilities. The minimal excavation requirements, simple set up and operation, and the elimination of additional easement for a new service make the pipe extraction process an economical and efficient alternative to other construction methods.

Features may include:

• Utilizing the same path of the existing pipe minimizes risk to surrounding utilities.

• Designed for a 4' x 4' pit.

• Generates up to 13.3 tons of pulling force.

• The extractor unit is controlled by a hydraulic powerpack outside the machine pit. The controls are simple so the system is easy to learn and operate.

• The unit’s on-board pipe shears cut the extracted pipe into manageable segments for convenient disposal/recycling.
